Immigration Physicals

Do you need an Immigration Exam? At Pedicare Children’s Clinic, we have USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) designated civil surgeons who provide immigration medical examinations for children, adolescents and adults.

Our goal is to make this process as easy as possible for you. If you have more than one person that needs to get an exam, let us know so we can book you in back-to-back appointments.

All your medical questions will be answered during your exam. However, feel free to call us if you have more questions or if you would like to make an appointment. Our goal is to get your exam done as quickly as possible for you and with the least cost.

Fulfilling Immigration Examination Requirements

Medical examinations are required by the USCIS to obtain a US green card or US citizenship. Only doctors designated by the USCIS as civil surgeons can complete an immigration exam. At Pedicare Children’s Clinic, we provide all necessary medical services to fulfill the USCIS requirements for applicants of all ages. We provide vaccination assessment and recommend lab tests and specific vaccinations needed to fulfill the USCIS requirements.

What Does an Immigration Examination Include?

  • Completion of form I-693
  • Complete physical examination
  • Vaccination history review
  • Screening for tuberculosis, syphilis (age 15 and above), gonorrhea (age 15 and above) and chlamydia (age 15 and above).

Should additional testing or specialist referrals be necessary to treat any health issues identified during the exam, our doctors can refer for blood work, x-rays, and also refer to appropriate specialist during the same visit for the convenience of the applicant.
